F. Brett Cox is theauthor of The End of All Our Exploring: Stories (Fairwood Press, 2018) and Roger Zelazny (U. of Illinois Press, 2021); the latter was runner-up for the Locus Award for Nonfiction. With Andy Duncan, he co-edited the anthology Crossroads: Tales of the Southern Literary Fantastic (Tor, 2004). His scholarly publications include work on James Morrow, William Gibson, George Saunders, and Kevin Brockmeier. His fiction, poetry, drama, essays, and reviews have appeared in numerous magazines and anthologies, with his most recent fiction appearing in The Dark, Sunday Morning Transport, and the anthology Yemoja's Tears.  He is a co-founder of the Shirley Jackson Awards and currently serves on the SJA Board of Advisors. He is an active member of SFWA, HWA, and the Cambridge SF Writers Workshop.  A native of North Carolina, Brett is Dana Professor of English at Norwich University and lives in Vermont with his wife, playwright Jeanne Beckwith.
